Can current (4-20mA) be measured?

To measure the constant current at the instrument output, it is necessary to use a shunt resistor to convert the voltage. In the case of 4-20 mA, a 250 Ω shunt resistor can convert the voltage to 1-5 V, which is the available range for this instrument. Therefore, you should use the instrument according to this setting.

If the instrument output is not a constant current, it is not possible to measure the current with a shunt resistor. In this case, you need to use a clamp meter or similar device to convert the voltage before measurement.

If you need a 250Ω shunt resistor (B-551), you can get it as an option by contacting Graphtec distributor.
